Let's see. Well, I don't find myself terribly exciting. I like the normal stuff, going out with friends when I can, making friends, talking, laughing, dreaming, looking at the stars at night. I tend to be kind of serious most of the time, because I'm always thinking of something or someone. I love keeping in contact with friends (what little I do have) and family. I do make friends on the Internet with some of the youngers Sailor Moon fans, but after a while, they stop writing me (I have no idea why, I thought I was nice), so now I'm looking for older Sailor Moon fans I can talk with and meet with. I love spending some quite time on my own, and thinking up stuff I can write about and poetry, although I don't write poetry very often. -_-;; I'm a huge romantic at heart, and yes, I get mushy on romantic movies and books. I love the idea of a man and woman falling in love and wanting to spend each moment together. Although with me, I seem to be lacking in that department....Hehehehe...^_^ Well, I guess it's because I'm very small for my age and look VERY young...as I always have been...and the crushes I did get don't really go far. Most of them just looked at me as sort of a "little sister" type, so....*shrugs* But like Minako says to Artermis in an episode in Sailor Moon Super S, "Somewhere, out there, there is someone special for me." I also love going to the beach and swimming, and I try to do that whenever I can. It's very healthy for you, you know. ^_~ Hmmm, I guess that's it. Unless there's something else I forgot....*thinking hard*....Oh, I lived in New York City for most of my life when I came to America from my country, and I've lived in Reading back and forth (between here and New York) since '92. I hate mean, spiteful people, racism, sexual discrimination, age discrimination, prejudice, abortion, and being ignored, especially by others I consider my friends. I love singing, and I'm proud to admit that I'm not too bad at it. ^_^ I like dancing too. Alright, that should be it. I think....O_o Write me if you want to know more.
Why did you create Sailor Sirius, and why is she Black?
Hmmm...well, I guess it's for alot of reasons. I've been in love with the Sailor Moon anime and manga, plus other anime, for quite a while now. There wasn't any Sailor Moon in America or the Internet (at least publically) until about two years after I graduated High School, so I didn't have the luxury like most teen-age girls today to set out immediately and write fanfics based on myself or friends. I first learned about Sailor Moon in my first or second year in college. When I first got on the Internet, I saw all these wonderful sites dedicated to Sailor Moon and other anime, and I was intrigued by it. I've loved Japanese culture since forever, and anime just reinforced it even more. But as I got to see other fanfic page and read the stories, I kept seeing the same theme over and over again. Most fans either made a direct copy or just another version of Sailor Moon, so one day I decided to get bold and do a different Sailor Senshi, one completely different from myself and other Otaku Senshi. An African-American one. I'm not sure whether it has taken off or not, but according to the few fanmails I did get, it did, at least for them. I also wanted to let people know that it doesn't matter what color you are or where you come from. Being a warrior and good person comes from the heart, not what you look like or your ethnic background.
Why Sailor Sirius and Star Healer? Isn't he really a girl?
-_-;; Again, there are lots of reasons I can put down, but it'll take too much time. First off, I find Star Healer, or Yaten, to be one of my favorite characters in the Sailor Moon manga and anime. Even though he's rude and arrogant, at least he's honest with his opinion, which is what I WISH I could be. He says what's on his mind, and doesn't care about the consequences. I like that. ^_^ As for him being really a girl, yes, it's true. On his home planet, the Guardian Senshi are female, but then, if they can change sex on on this planet, wouldn't they have easily changed sex on their own planet too....if they wanted? I think the Starlight's race can change sex easily to ensure that their protectors are female. I think they can easily change and stay male if they choose as easily as stay a female, which I find very conveniant. Besides, I based their love, or budding love, on Yaten's male side. ^.~ I thought it would be interesting to see how Sirius's personality would interact with Star Healer's, and I have to say, it turned out VERY interesting indeed. *chuckles* Anyway, I hope that answered any questions.
Well, that's me in a nutshell. No surprises or extraodinary findings. ^_^ I'll always love Sailor Moon for as long as I can, and I hope to even make an anime myself....someday... '_' Take care all, and don't be shy to write me! *waves*
